I wanted to capture this colossal front man, of the legendary rock band, Aerosmith. I wanted to capture him in his element, that onstage shooting star persona of a star so bright and brilliant that you can’t turn away from it.

So to make sure that sentiment came shooting across in the painting, I had to first make sure to capture him in his classic showman stance, in his signature pose. I then used abstract shapes with gold leaf accents to help create and compliment the composition, to properly highlight Steven’s signature look, that look we all have come to recognize him for.
